Week 13 Overview

Hello!

We're looking forward to a fairly light week this week. There aren't any tests on the immediate horizon and we have Wednesday off. Yay! That being said, we are starting studying some exciting new things. In Math, we've starting discussing fractions. For some students, this was their very first exposure to fractions! We had an exciting and productive day today introducing that concept. In Science, we're continuing our study of earthquakes, a subject all of are scholars are thrilled to study. Tomorrow, we will be making seismographs out of tissue boxes! In History, we're continuing our study of the Middle Ages by discussing knights and chivalry, a subject that certainly fits in well with our Great Hearts virtues!

Today and tomorrow, we are having a book fair. Our students will be able to attend tomorrow (Tuesday) during school, and after school with parental supervision. If your student would like to buy a book, please send money to school with them.

Have a great week!
